Since 2010, the Panorama Futuro project opens space in the festival’s programming for the audience to get to know the new generation of contemporary dancers. This year, the four evenings dedicated to the program will be shared between Cia. Balé Baião, from Ceará, and Eduardo Fukushima, from São Paulo, who will perform two solos.

From Itapipoca, Ceará’s countryside, Cia. Balé Baião de Dança Contemporânea presents to Panorama’s audience the piece Lamentos e gozos da Imperatriz de Itapipoca, that challenges the performers to be receptive and to cooperate through direct and indirect contact with a rectangular piece of wood. Today and tomorrow, at 7 p.m., at Caixa Cultural’s Teatro de Arena.

Caixa Cultural’s Teatro de Arena also will receive the two solos Entre contenções and Como superar o grande cansaço?, that represents two stages of the contemporary dance language research Eduardo Fukushima has been carrying out since 2007, based on autobiographical issues and feelings. The dancing is the question itself, as will to power and generator of movement. November 08 and 09, at 7 p.m.

The tickets for Panorama Futuro’s programme can be purchased here.
