The starting point for BioMashup was the solo The hot one hundred choreographers, presented at Panorama 2011 (the inspiration for the title is the word mashup, a type of composition created from a combination of other compositions). In this choreography six performers experiment with their bodies, the history of dance and the possibility of passing their knowledge on to the audience. The soundtrack is played live with a Theremin, one of the first electronic music instruments. Biomashup is co-produced by Panorama 2014.
