Este projeto de vídeo-instalação combina videoarte, dança e vjing para tentar entender como essas três formas de arte se relacionam num mesmo espaço visual. De um lado, as imagens foram gravadas com uma câmera que fotografa 500 frames por segundo; de outro, a ação é apresentada em slow motion, dando a impressão de que o tempo se estendeu. Um diálogo entre diferentes padrões coreográficos e imagens abstratas envolve o espectador numa experiência do corpo em movimento, permitindo um confronto entre as sensações de tensão e relaxamento da mente. O vídeo-instalação será montado em duas grandes telas diante de uma área com água que reflete as projeções.
This video-installation project combines videoart, dance and vjing to try to understand how these three art forms relate to each other in the same visual space. On one side, the images were recorded with a camera that captures 500 frames per second; on the other, action is presented in slow motion, giving the impression that time has expanded. A dialogue between different choreographic patterns and abstract images involves the spectator in an experience of the body in movement, allowing a confrontation of the feelings of tension and relaxation of the mind. The video-installation will be placed in two large screens in front of an area with water that reflects the projection.
